The always excellent michael20183 just put online his new video update of Hong Kong Disneyland Grizzly Gulch and Mystic Manor and the works are going fine as you will see on the video. More trees have been planted in Grizzly Gulch, and the little western town should be finished at the end of April. Grizzly Gulch is not supposed to open before next summer and i don't think there should be any delay.
As for Mystic Manor, there is still plenty of scaffoldings but that's normal, at least one more year to go before its scheduled opening in 2013. That said, Mystic Manor building might have its painting finished sooner as HKDL is planning to create a path between Toy Story Land and Grizzly Gulch when Grizzly Gulch will open, as i told you previously. The manor won't be open but HKDL guests will be able to see its facade walking to GG or TSL, even if they'll still have to wait many months before the ride open. A bit like Disneyland Haunted Mansion building in the 1960's which was finished six years before the ride opened! Hopefully HKDL guests will not have to wait that long before they'll be able to enter Mystic Manor in 2013.
In a previous update i told you that Star Tours 2 was supposed to come at HKDL Tomorrowland, but from what i've been told some people are against this idea and are doing some kind of lobbying to the HKDL government. Hong Kong Government is likely to reject the idea of Star Tours 2, and apparently this is due to the lack of exclusive elements of the ride itself (for HKDL). Of course this doesn't have any sense and i've been asked to tell to my overseas readers to express their view and their support to have Star Wars 2 coming to HKDL to the Hong Kong government.
